stellazio SG you spend thousands on em? well the jap imported anime cds have extremely nice covers and will do fine as a collection. i love the final fantasy ones.but i no money.
av98m SG Each original japan pressed soundtrack CD works out to be around $50. you do the math Adn yeah, some of the special edition packaging is damned nice.
stellazio SG i think cause odex has a monopoly for anime distribution rights in singapore. what i dun understand is how come singnet is willing to work with them when starhub isnt. they wana lose more customers to starhub is it?
elindra SG x2 I am willing to pay for quality Odex CMI la Even last time when they only have VCDs no DVD yet their Gundam set the subs super CMI I bought once from them and never bought another from them again
stellazio SG i know, i saw em in hmv. i was drooling at some of the covers. btw 50? i thought i usually see 69.90.
the Bear SG isn't a monopoly anti-competition? and they can be brought to court for being a monopoly?
av98m SG Buy direct from Japan, cheaper. And when you buy in larger quantity > 10 titles the shipping is nicely spread out
the Bear SG singnet.. why? i'm not downloading stuff at the moment.. trying to load up my iPod for the past week and a half
av98m SG apparently its all singnet users being sent letters from Odex but maybe Starhub is for round 2?
the Bear SG i dunno about manitou with crabs.. i don't want no native american spirit in my crab frankly, i'm still looking for good seafood paella
stellazio SG seriosuly, which company will wana enter this business to fight with odex. fight over what? see who's loses more money? anime business is not profitbale in singapore, it never has been. maybe in the future when everyone gets scared then maybe.
hisoka SG singapore market abit too small to attract other companies in to want to compete unless we have some that doing it also for otaku’s sake
the Bear SG so, how do other companies make money in other countries? you give them quality, and people will buy them.. too many adults out there with a lot of purchasing power to buy those things.. and DVDs are cheap as hell to produce..
